Electrolux portable steamer is one of the best steamers on the market. But, how to use Electrolux correctly on your items? To know more, read this article.

Using Electrolux Portable Steamer

Step 1

Electrolux Portable Handheld Garment & Fabric Steamer comes with a removable water tank. So, first, remove it by pressing the Detach button. You may notice this button closer to the tank.

Step 2

Now, grab a measuring cup. Take around 300 ml of water and pour it into the removable water tank. After filling it, place it in its previous position.

Remember, you shouldn’t overfill the tank. Electrolux steamer never spills or leaks water. However, if you cross the Max Fill Line with water, you may notice spills or leakage. So, be careful.

Step 3

Connect the power cord to a standard electrical outlet. Electrolux comes with an 8 feet long power cord. Therefore, you can steam items easily.

While connecting, you should follow some safety instructions-

  • Never use a damaged power cord.
  • Don’t operate your steamer with other appliances on the same outlets. Overloaded connections can damage a steamer for good.
  • Disconnect the steamer from power source while filling the water tank.

Step 4

Press the power button to turn the steamer on. Now, wait for around 30 seconds to let the steamer ready.

Step 5

Place your garments on hangers and start steaming. Select the suitable setting for your fabric out of the two settings. To identify the suitable setting, first, apply steam to a smaller area of fabric and see the result. If you don’t observe anything unusual, cover the whole fabric. Otherwise, select the other mode.

These two settings work great on any fabric. However, not all fabrics are suitable for steaming. For example, you shouldn’t apply steam on leather, waxed, and plastic items. Moreover, care should be taken while steaming delicate items. Before steaming sheer, silk, velvet, and chiffon, turn those items inside out.

With a single fill, you can steam garments for 18 minutes. This amazing steamer can wrinkle-free items, thanks to its steam pump technology. You can use it to polish shirts, pants, skirts, curtains, drapes, and beddings.

Instructions

  • Never apply steam to your face or body.
  • Always keep children away while steaming garments.
  • Always keep the water tank empty after use.
  • If tap water is hard, use distilled water to reduce the probability of mineral buildup.
