How to Heat Press Polyester and Spandex
Keep temperature low

For this blend, utilize a little bit lower temperature than regular polyesters. It may shrink at temperatures above 300 degrees F. Therefore, utilize temperature around 280 degrees F.
Pre shrink the fabric
Polyester is generally known for its shrink-resistant nature. But, this polyester and spandex blend may shrink at high temperatures. If you don’t pre-shrink this fabric, it may not look very pleasant after heat pressing.
